I (Maverick) decided I'd type this up now, in my own words, so those of you who actually want to read it will get the short and sweet version of our story. Abbi will want to give you every detail (and that's great!) but, for now, I'll keep it brief. We met at the ballpark (of course). Over the years, our friendship grew, but I went off to college (GoRillas). We eventually reconnected and I asked Abbi on a lunch date when I was home from school. I didn't wait to ask her to be my girlfriend, one date was enough to know I wanted to be with her. Fast forward and I proposed at the Overland Park Arboretum but she said no :( (just kidding). So here we are, and that's the short take on our little love story. (I may be locked away for this by the time everyone reads this, so thank you all for the great memories!)

I (Abbi) most definitely will give you every detail because that's how good our story is. I met Maverick 7 years ago, little did he know that when we met I already knew he was gonna be my husband. I didn't know how or when, but I knew God had hand picked him for me and I happily told him...weekly (he thought I was crazy, rightfully so). After not seeing each other for two years, I finally felt God pull on my heart that it was time. I texted Maverick that day and asked if he finally wanted to give it a shot. All these years later and the rest is history. He always told me when we were friends that maybe it could happen in another lifetime. Well honey, here we are in our other lifetime.
